The purpose of having after-hours triage available is to assist patients in urgent situations to make decisions regarding the severity of their child's condition and determine if a trip to the emergency room is necessary or if the patient's condition can wait until the office is open, in which case our service can give advice on how to best care for the child in the interim. The review of symproms and advice given is an additional service we provide to you as a patient. There is a $15.00 fee for this service which is NOT billable to insurance. If at any time you are uncomfortable with the recommendations provided by the service you can request to speek to the on-call physician. There is no additional charge for speaking directly with the physician.

Having this service available helps our patients avoid unnecessary, costly or time-consuming trips to the emergency room or walk-in clinic during non-business hours. We believe this service is a tremendous benefit and the cost is very resonable.
